    T400s CPU-Whining on Windows 7

    If I am on the "Power Source Optimized" profile, the cpu whines loudly. Switching to the Windows "Balanced" profile quiets it down.

    Am I the only one experiencing this?

    sorry to hear that. I have T400s with SP9400 no cpu whine (windows 7 Pro x64). I use custom profile though.

    Do you use Lenovo Power Manager to manage your power or the native Windows 7?
