    T400s and X301 6 cell battery the same?

    Hi,

    Are these two batteries interchangeable? I might pick up on on ebay with the 15% cashback promotion right now, but I don't see any T400s batteries for sale.

    No. The 6-cell for the X300/X301 is called 43R1967 and the 6-cell for the T400s is called 51J0497.

    Yep. The T400s battery and X301 battery have different dimensions, although both look the same in the pictures.

    They are different batteries, have a different shape, and will not physically fit. However, they do have a comparable voltage, amperage, and WHr rating.
