    Comes up as $769 for me now. I did see it for $295 about 30 mins ago. Figure they must have mucked up.

    That's ok, I'm running out of money anyways. Ordered that W701 that was on sale at Amazon, and the t500 on CDW. So I'm cool with missing this one... :)

    Mistake or not, couldn't that be considered false advertisement? It clearly shows $295 on the product page, but when you add to cart it's $769...

    This happens quite a lot with Lenovo online stores. Also, they have a clause in their sales to say that Lenovo reserves the right sell the product to you, and they can cancel your order for whatever reason they may have.

    I guess you should avoid moving to USA.... and move to Europe like Denmark instead, where taxes sometimes are so high, you would think twice about making purchase on a whim.

    good thing with Dell, is that they will at least honour couple of price mistakes or offer a 50 or 100 dollars discount for other things if they can't honour the price mistakes to everybody. With Lenovo i have never seen it happening, they would just cancel your order then and there.

    I guess this is a policy difference between Lenovo and Dell at the higher management level.

    Yours is regular T400, folks here talk about slim T400s premium laptop :D
    Either way, less than 500$ for brand new T400 almost maxed out is great deal IMO ;)

    Yeah, but it still says $295 on the front page. If they are taking the time to adjust the cart price, then they obviously know about the typo. I smell bait and switch. I really hope I am wrong though, because that's just low and worthy of losing my respect. :rolleyes:
