    A fairly stupid query but after a few weeks I asked the new owners ... OK enough ? Video ok enough ?

    Also more in general are the letters on 1440 x 900 same size as a 13 inch screen with 1280 x 800? Shame we cannot see before we buy here.

    Or would it be wiser to get the cheaper T400 and add to that the rumored
    X100e ultra ligh thinkpad ?

    the screen on the t400s is pretty poor

    screen on the t400 is great, but video playback quality is below average (I have the high nit screen)

    I would say if you want superb video playback get a Sony or a MBP.
