    T41 T61p screen swap?

    Can I swap the good screen on my T41 onto a T61p with a bad screen? :confused:

    My first post here so go easy on me...

    which T41 do you have and which T61p do you have? Is your T61p a standard aspect ratio version or the widescreen version?

    It won't work, even if it's the correct aspect ratio, and it's possible to damage your machine in doing so.

    Thanks Zaz it was worth an ask though...

    T41 is 2373 T61p is standard ratio was offered with no display but shown working through monitor out.

    Is it straightforward to replace a screen?

    I didn't find it to be that bad. The hardest part is keeping track of all the screws. Just take your time and you should be good.
