This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     T41 isn't playing back dvd-r copies

    I have a Thinkpad T41 that plays regular dvds with no problems but can't seem to read or playback dvd-r. The same dvd-r work fine in my other computer and on my dvd components. Any suggestions?
