By far the T60. But because of the cost it boils down to how much you want to cough up.

where are you getting the price for the t60? that seams awfully high...

I bought this t60 (new) from craigslist for $725 just 2 months ago:

    core 2 duo 1.83ghz
    1gb ddr2 667 (1 DIMM)
    60gb 5400rpm drive
    integrated intel graphics
    14.1" 4:3 XGA (1024x768)
    cd-rw/dvd-rw DL
    standard battery
    no bluetooth, no fingerprint reader

those prices seem a little high to me? i definitely wouldn't buy the t60, especially with the great deals on the t61 you can get right now straight from lenovo

    Your comparing a $450 laptop to a $1200 one...

pitch out the idea for the 400$ one, it will be slow and crappy the second you turn it on. And as people suggested, the T61 is very affordable and a solid machine. For a lenovo, go with that and you won't be disappointed. It will have more than enough power to remain a good laptop for what I'm assuming will be office type tasks and mobile web surfing and working for at least 2 years. I'd give you a month on the 400$ one before you are crying for an upgrade.

    I would compare a T43 to a T60, but not a T41. If it was a T43 I would pick it over the T60 anyday.
