    Hi all,

It seems that whenever I have the power adapter plugged into my T410, it will keep charging my 9-cell battery. How can I configure my T410 to use ONLY AC power even though I have my battery installed? Basically I would like to prolong my battery life, while keeping the battery there for portability.

    Thanks

Usually you could set this using the battery thresholds available in Power Manager, but in the Tx10 generation, it seems as if this feature was removed. The option is normally under the "Battery" tab in Power Manager.

The default threshold is charge when below 96%. The ability to customize the thresholds is supposed to return in the next version of PM for the 410/510 series.

Install Power Manager driver and utility.
