    I am currently in a position where I simply have to order a new notebook no later than midnight tonight (eastern time). I've always leaned toward Lenovo's excellent build quality, and I've just found this configuration online.

    The key points:

    i5-520m processor
    Windows 7 Professional 32-bit
    14.1" WXGA TFT w/ LED backlight Screen
    Integrated Intel graphics
    4 GB RAM
    500 GB, 7200 rpm hard drive
    9 cell battery
    2 yr basic + thinkpad warranty

    for the price of $1,184.10, is this a good deal?

    Thanks to all in advance.

    What kind of wireless card? WXGA, not WXGA+? Have you looked for coupon codes?

    I am in the United States.

    Wireless card? I didn't configure anything in particular... so do you mean the "Thinkpad bgn" wireless?

    and as a matter of fact, I've added 64-bit and WXGA+. Final price, after tax and shipping, of $1,274.10.

    I got the T410 in my signature for ~$1150. I bought the RAM and HDD separate though, that saved ~$50.

    I am not sure if these are for USA, but check them out;

    i would avoid the Thinkpad bgn card, get the 1000 or 6200 intel wireless card instead.
