What does the screen need to be compatible with? Surely it needs to be

    1. 1440x400
    2. LED backlit
    3. 40 pin
    4. 14.1"

Is there anything else I should look at? The T400s has the same laundry list -- would a T400s screen work?

    No.

The connectors are in a different place.

T410 does not "share" the screen with any other ThinkPads.

FRUs that you should be looking for are: 42T0727, 42T0731 and 42T0735

    Good luck.

    1440x400 ??? Don't recall seeing that size?
Anyways, I just replaced my screen last week using this company. Well know, fast service. Easy to install... This may not be your exact one as I don't know your full model number...
