I'm using WXGA+ right now. I just fell that the resolution is a little bit high. I just wondering is the different between the WXGA and WXGA+. Is the WXGA resolution too low? The WXGA on 15.4" is too low for me. The pixel looks too big. The best resolution for me is WXGA+(1440X900) on 15.4". How does the WXGA(1280X800) on 14.1" compare to WXGA+(1440X900) on 15.4"?
Thanks

A 15.4" WXGA+ is probably closer to a 14.1" WXGA text size wise. A 14.1" WXGA screen has a pixel density of 107, 15.4" WXGA+ is 110 and 14.1" WXGA+ is 120.

why don't you try it yourself? I thought that 1440x900 on 14.1" makes text too small, but, when I actually use it, it was just right for my eyes.

Interesting thing is that I have a samsung 19" LCD with 1440X900 and Thinkpad T500 15.4 1280X800. From the PPI calculate: Display Dimensions Calculator. The 19" has 89.37PPI, the 15.4" has 98.02PPI. But I fell that the T500 15.4" has bigger pixel than 19".

That's a good idea. Though most of your Best Buy notebooks will be 1366x768.
T410 LCD resolution question, WXGA or WXGA+.
