    Hey,

I have a t410 model 2516, I think the earliest one. I just installed 64 bit Win 7 and would like to upgrade to 2 x 4GB of RAM and found this:

    Newegg.com - Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model CT2KIT51264BC1339

    Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model CT2KIT51264BC1339

The memory that I currently have is DDR3 1066, not 1333. From what I can tell from this page, my T410 should be okay with 1333:

    Lenovo Support - 1GB, 2GB and 4GB PC3-10600 DDR3-1333 Low-Halogen SODIMM Memory - Overview

Since I've never upgraded my memory before, I just wanted to make extra sure that there's not some other metric or specification that I'm missing to ensure compatibility. If anyone can confirm that the memory I linked above will work in a T410 I would appreciate it. Is it worth getting 1333 over 1066?

    Thanks

Yes that will work. 1333 RAM is only natively supported with Clarksfield quad core i7s. Everything else will run 1066 natively.

Sounds good. I found some 1066 slightly cheaper and with solid reviews so I'm going with that since I didn't realize the 1333 would run at 1066 anyway. Thanks for your help!
