I have T410 which I got from a NBR member some time ago, very happy with it. The battery was dying on me though so I got another one and yes, not an original one(I know, I know...)
The thing is - old battery was a 6-cell one 4670mAh, FRU 45N1001, made by Sanyo. The new battery is supposed to be a 9-cell one however when installed Power Manager reports 66Wh designed capacity (7% wear lol, so 61Wh) , FRU 42T4763, also made by Sanyo.
The battery charge properly and its considered as "Good" by PM, the laptop works fine on battery though the battery life is not good for a new 9-cell

I know I may have received a faulty battery so I've already contacted the seller. But in the meantime - any suggestions? A battery gauge reset maybe?
I know some T410 require battery firmware updated but I got the tool and it said there are no batteries that require updating attached so I guess that's out.

My T410 is running W10, latest BIOS available, all updates installed from Lenovo System Update.
