    T410 start up problem when docked

    I recently purchased a ThinkPad Mini Dock Series 3 for my T410. When I dock the laptop and press the power button on the dock the laptop will not start up until I undock it and then redock it. I have it connected to a ASUS LED monitor and am running Intel(R) HD Graphics. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    I know on mine I sometime have to dock it twice before it makes a good connection... the charge/power light doesn't always come on when I place it down, in which case I lift it and place it again.

    I guess there must be an alignment issue or some other issue.

    As it works when docked and otherwise appears ok I just live with it.
