Not sure this is in the proper forum section but...
I've had a few issues with Chrome and my new T410s that have been driving me crazy. First my cursor was disappearing after about two seconds of inactivity and then reappear off and on. This made it difficult to not only scroll the website but it was almost impossible to use the contexual (right click) menu. The second issue was random pausing while scrolling up and down large pages in Chrome. I've managed to solve these issues so I'm posting this up to help others out.
The disappearing cursor was solved after I figured out that I had a flash/Shockwave plugin installed (hint: hit shift+ESC to bring up Chrome task manager). I tried to remove the plugin with the adobe removal tool but it did not work. I finally located the plgin directory in win7 and deleted the file directly: C:\Users\ YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\5.0.375.38\ gcswf32.dll That fixed the cursor disappearing. I also noticed that removing that flash plugin gave me about 200-300mb ram back.
The next issue was the random pausing or "hickups" that I was having when I scrolled. This was solved by turning off the automatic proxy detection.
In Chrome "click on the little wrench"
Options
under the hood
change proxy settings
LAN settings
"uncheck" automatically detect settings
Hope this info helps out all of you Chrome users out having issues in win7. I'm using Chrome 5.0.375.38 beta.

Thanks for sharing - I am about to get a t410s and appreciate the heads up

No such issue with chrome on Fedora 13.
I agree that flash sucks, for the record

This doesnt sound like it has anything to do with the T410s

My t410s on windows 7 doesn't have these issues either. Odd.

I agree with you. I posted up because I found that issue on my T410s not that believe that the the T410s was the issue. Maybe the title is a bit misleading. I believe that this issue is a win7/flash plugin/proxy internet/Chrome issue. I searched several forums and the internet and finally found a solution. I thought that it would be good to put that information into a single post for Lenovo Thinkpad users.
Mr. peaches,
What version of Chrome are you running? Win7 32 or 64 bit? Do you have any flash plugins installed? Is your automatically detect proxy checked? Just wondering if you have all of things that I had when I first noticed issues. Here are two threads that I found with others that were experiencing similar effects.
