    hey guys,

I decided to run a benchmark test on my SSD and unfortunately I didn't get the performance people seem to get. Here is the screenshot with the results:

I saw some people fixed performance issues by upgrading the firmware but it appears you cannot do that on the T410s. So does anyone have any suggestions or similar performance?

You can upgrade SSD firmware using any computer, using the same CD you burn. Your numbers do seem a bit low, my 80GB X25 gets about 260 and 90 respectively.

Good point. For reference, mine was ATTO.

I ran the ATTO bench again, and confirmed 258 and 89 MB/s for read and write respectively. Your T410s should ideally be able to get similar numbers, assuming very recent Intel firmware.

Mind you, these are peak numbers, depending on the size of the block being transferred. In my case, peak throughput (using this tool) was a block size of 256KB, and greater. Anything below 256KB was significantly less.
