    Why's the laptop just sitting at LA Port for almost 2 days?

    LA port is crazy busy for one. Also, UPS has no control over customs, so if the port authority decides to look at a shipment, there's not much they can do. Don't worry, it'll make its way up from Long Beach/San Pedro soon enough ;)

    Is the Lenovo shipping estimate when the laptop ships out of China or an estimated date of arrival? My shipping estimate on the Lenovo site was June 29th, and it shipped June 19th...my spidey senses tell me that my laptop's gonna arrive near June 29th (preferably before)

    I seem to recall the Lenovo shipping estimate being an estimate date of when it will ship.

    Well, then buy a pre-configured machine online and you can have it a few days, but be prepared to pay more.

    I ordered my t410s on June 20th. The estimated ship date is July 2nd. Anyone have a good idea when i can expect it?. This will be my 4th thinkpad in years, but i can still never seem to predict how quick it will be.


    I want it now!! lol

    Just so im not confused.

    The estimated ship date on Lenovo order status was the 29th? but now UPS says it will be delivered the 24th?

    That means they sent it almost a week ahead? Correct me if im mistaken

    The estimated ship date is nothing more than an estime. It seems Lenovo has finally caught on that they should promise a date late enough that they'll be almost certain to ship it by then, rather than promise a sooner date and have a customer who is angry when it ships 2 days later.

    Got an email this morning that it was shipped out.

    Estimated ship date was July 2nd, shipped on june 25th!

    I wish it would be here monday but highly doubt that. Wednesday sounds more realistic... :(
