I have had a T410s for around 2 weeks now. There are two problems I have encountered with it and would like to know what is going wrong:

    1. My laptop has frozen around three times now. When it freezes theres a huge whiny, electronic noise coming near the left side of the keyboard.

    2. I can't really play warcraft 3 frozen throne on my computer (I have GMA HD). The screen lags for around 5-6 seconds occasionally. This is really annoying as my last laptop with a X3100 could run warcraft 3 frozen throne in the highest setting.

    Please help thanks!

Update through Thinkvantage with the latest software/drivers from Lenovo as well as Microsoft.

Have you tried tweaking your graphics settings in WC?

Thanks there was nothing for me to update in thinkvantage (did it before)
I don't think I should need to tweak settings in WC as my older computer could run it with everything max.

I requested for a return (not only for this reason but also because my screen did not align perfectly with the bottom of the laptop, suddenly freezing, left speaker plastic is loose) and lenovo gave me an RMA for a return and full refund.

I am wondering is it natural for lenovo to assume that the laptop I am returning won't be in a brand new condition? It looks nearly brand new but I have been using it for 2 weeks now. I know they go through a quality check during the return process, under what conditions would they refuse a return?
