    Hi,

did anyone have the chance yet to compare the T410s multitouch with the non-multitouch screen?
Contrast on the former seems to be very poor because of the high black-level and I would like to know whether that's caused by the touch layer or the screen itself. Hope the non-multitouch is better.

Can anyone clarify this or even has some pictures?

    Thanks!
    Michael

the non-multitouch screen also has extremely poor (very high) black levels

I'll second that -- I just got a t410s, and it's a great machine in general, but the screen is poor. Most $400 netbooks have better screens. It's really a shame. I find it annoying even just for text/business use.

If you're worried about the quality of the screen, then you probably won't be happy with the screen on the T410(s).

Personally, I wasn't worried about it and have no issues with my WXGA+ screen. I can see what people mean about the black levels though.

That said I'll probably replace the screen with a better quality one sometime in the future, but more for the fun of it than anything.

    Thanks!

Not what I hoped for, though, I really thought it might be related to the touch layer.
Oh well, guess I could live with it but I just don't like spending 2k € and then getting such a crappy screen.

Not sure yet what I am going to do, maybe I go for the HP 8440p instead, even if its a bit larger and heavier.
