    T42 & its fan

    I post this question on behalf of myself and others who are thinking about buying a new T series ThinkPad. Since there have been various complaints concerning the T41's fan, does anyone know what fan IBM has installed in its new T42? It seems that there have not been many noise complaints with the T41p's fan. Hopefully, some one can confirm whether or not the T41p's fan is now being used in the T42. Thanks for your input.

    Hello,
    I remplaced my fan (T40 short fan in a T41 radeon 7500) with the 13R2657 (long fan fire gl t41p (42 ?? i don't check all the model of T))
    And the noisy fan is always here [V]
