    I am interested in buying IBM 23733UU but it comes under education. The question is I can check out in my cart using the IBM education site but will it be a problem to buy the T42 ? I am not in higher studies or in any university.

    - What is the eligibility to buy these models from education link ? I couldn't find any conditions. I was checking this notebook http://www-1.ibm.com/gold/portal/servlet/gold/hied/Content?contentURL=/gold/portal/html/en_US/94134.html&page=Welcome

    - How does IBM check whether one is in education or not ? Are there any documents which need to be shown ?

    - Does IBM audit after someone has bought the notebook ? Does the IBM CSR check ? What happens if they find the person is not in education ? Do they go back and charge them the extra or is it criminal offence ?

    - What is other option to buy this if going through education link is a problem ?
