I had oppurtunity to check Asus W1 with 2.0 Dothan - cooling and noise level on Asus was pretty nice - fan was working not all the time and was very silent.
I checked T42 but not in very silent place - is it noisy? is the fan working all the time or only when cpu is overheating???

    kind regards

hey Gorssoft, I use the T42 and have no problems with the fan constantly running, it is a very quiet machine and in a warm room or when the processor is working overtime will the fan be running constantly -- and even then it's not too noisy.
