    Hello,

I have a semi-new battery that was working until recently.

    Now the battery health says:
    Cycle Count: 6
    Full Charge Capacity: 21.94 Wh
    Design Capacity: 73.26 Wh

I have reconditioned the battery a couple of times, but no change. Also, the cycle count didn't increase after reconditioning!

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Daniel

Where did you buy the battery from? It sounds like it is almost certainly defective (30% of design after 6 cycles should not happen). If possible, I suggest you return it for a replacement.

If that is not possible, CalCellular offers good prices on quality ThinkPad batteries (including this T4x 9 cell).
