    Hi,

I've been travelling a lot and need a solution to power my T42 in the car.

I'm thinking of buying an voltage converter. Can somebody recommend one.

I am also considering buying Microsoft's street/map software with GPS to use it with my T42. Is this a good idea compared to dedicated and expensive GPS devices?

    Thank you

Don't use microsoft. It's an immature product. The following is one of the best GPS software/hardware combination.

    Inav GPS software

    Emtac GPS receiver.

Ofcourse you need a BT adapter which costs $19.

I use this combination for my IPAQ PDA and it's one of the best investments I have ever made on gadgets. ( I don't need BT adapter coz ipaq has BT built-in). Yes I did extensive research before buying this !!!
