    T420 - clean install of win 8.1 and drivers - help

    I know I can go to Lenovo's site and download each driver individually or use their system update, but is there a specific order/drivers that I need to install when installing win8.1 to insure that everything is there and working correctly?

    Chipset first. From there it should be up to your whimsy as far as I know. Downloading the drivers before the full install and backing them up to something is a good idea, also. ;)

    the chipset seem to be from Oct 2012 and never updated...
