    Hi All,

Got a new Thinkpad. Got everything setup with ssd and all. Thank you all here :)

I saw thread/post sometime back about battery settings/properties which extend battery life, but for the life of me, I cannot find that. Could somebody please post the link OR say what I need to do. Something about charging kicking in when battery falls to 40% or something.

I would be really grateful if I could know this.

    Much appreciated.

    thx.

If you want to adjust the battery settings then click on the battery bar in the lower right side of the task bar. That will bring up Lenovo Power Manager.

Then you click on "battery", and then "battery maintenance"

You can then set the charging thresholds to maximize battery life. A lot of us have different settings, I have mine start charging when below 50% and have it stop charging at 98%.
