Has anybody tried installing Bluetooth module into T420 with no Bluetooth option? I looked at the HMM and T420 seems to require some flat cables as well as Bluetooth module.

for T420 with no bluetooth from the factory, is it missing only the module itself? or is it missing the entire bluetooth assembly including cable and harness if any?

It should be possible to do a retrofit of the BT module, if I recall when I purchased a new keyboard bezel for my T420 I just transferred over my existing BT module to the touchpad cables which already has a connector in place as shown in the picture below (I just dismantled my T420 just to show where it is if it helps!).
