This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     T420 and Windows 7 SP1 Issue

    SP 1 is interfering with my sound card and my microphone - so far doing a system restore to normal windows 7 resolves the issue. Anybody else have similar problems?

    Haven't tried that one yet. I'm kind of beat from doing a system restore twice now. I may try that next weekend.

    Also make sure your drivers are all currently updated using Lenovo System Update.
