It rained really hard today and the backpack I thought to be water proof is only water resistant. When I took the laptop out, it seemed that only the left and right sides got wet from the bottom of the backpack getting wet and water leaking from the top. I dried off the water on the outside then booted it up but does not turn on, only the power button flashes. Is there any hope to saving it?

    Thanks

Pull the battery and let it dry COMPLETELY before trying to power it on again. It may be a damaged battery as well but I wouldn't recommend any more testing until this device is dry inside and out.

Ya remove the battery and let it dry out. Worst case, open up the laptop and try to dry off everything (you can try the rice trick).
