    I am using a new colour profile that was posted in the T420 owners thread. I have noticed when I am watching a movie in VLC, when I switch to the desktop the brightness is too high for a few seconds, then it goes back to normal. Does anyone know how to fix this??

    Thanks, that fixed it. Is there any recommendations for which settings I should be using to get the best out of the notebook? Is the colour profile posted a while ago still the one I should be using? Any need to update any drivers?
