    Hi. Been shopping awhile between the makes and the Lenovo T420 + T420s is in the running still.

    My question is regarding the differences between the two. The weight differential isn't much but is there any difference other than the weight/slimness on these units?

    Some said USB 3.0 is only available on the S?

    The USB 3.0 indeed only available in the S, while the non S have eSata. The S is able 1lb lighter. Personally I would get the non S, the money save could easily go to a new mSata SSD.
