Hey I am having a problem with my laptop. When I play a game or open up a program, everything freezes and the screen goes black. After a few seconds it goes back to normal and the little window helper at the bottom right says my intel graphics accelerator drivers for windows 7 has stopped working and repaired itself. Then the screen goes black after a few seconds again and goes back to normal with the windows helper saying the same thing. I have restarted the computer and gone into safe mode then try to install the intel graphics driver but it still has problems. My laptop is a T420i and the number thing is 4177. What can I do to fix this problem?

Try uninstalling the Intel graphics driver in Device Manager (check Delete software) then installing the latest one off of Lenovo's site.
