My 42p with XPpro and Win 7100 RC dual boot hangs on restart either from an XP or 7 restart. It boots through the initial windows screen after appearing to briefly access the hard drive. I have to turn it off via the power switch then turn back on to have it restart.
A hint of what might be going on behind the sceens is this problem can be corrected by turning on the Diagnostic reboot through the bios. When you restart with diagnostics on it does not hang. Any thoughts on how to fix this? I don't think it is related to the dual boot set-up since this occured prior to installing Win 7.
    Thanks for your help.
