How can i find the PLL # of my T43 (Radeon X300 64MB GPU)? Does anyone know the # of my specific machine? I looked on the Lenovo website on the parts lookup of my machine but could'nt really find anything that would relate to that. I need the number so i can use SetFSB to tinker with my 2GHz P-M.

you could take the notebook apart...
Also you can probably do a BSEL pin mod to overclock. -

mine is a 533 Dothan and ive heard you could only stabily overclock the old 400 Dothans and Banias' with a pin mod. Otherwise i'd do it. I'll probably open it up then, i just thought if anyone already knew it i could save some trouble.

if you get a problem with TME being enabled (no software OC allowed) let me know, because I can help you solve the problem.
Also any other problems with setfsb, let me know and I might be able to help.
Also, if you do the BSEL mod and it's not stable, just pin mod the CPU to give it more voltage, I can give you a link to a great guide.
Also if your ram becomes unstable, use SPDtool or thaiphoon burner to flash new timmings or a different frequency onto the ram.
I can help you out with that if you want. -

yeah that would be great, ive OC'ed a pentium 4 2.4 to 3.0GHz but never a laptop CPU.

notebook CPUs overclock well.
Right now I'm on a T7300 @2.6ghz (2ghz stock).
Temp tops out at 82C.
Really there are many ways to overclock a notebook.
If you cant use setfsb (or any other software) and the BSEL mod doesn't work, then you can always do a clock generator (PLL) pin mod.
It works just like a BSEL mod, but the multi will never get locked to it's lowest value.

It's for a different chipset, but the ideas are generic.
