Please help. I'm very frustrated right now. I just received my T43 this afternoon. When I tried to install Nikon Capture 4.13, the program would not start and the whole system froze, despite the fact that this is an indication that the setup completed successfully. Thanks. Mike

Is there a more current version of the software? Seems odd that the T43 would cause problems that other machines don't.

I've tried just that multiple times. My computer either froze or at worst crashed (after there was a blue screen saying something about fatal error, memory dumping ...) After rebooting by itself, the computer rebooted to the desktop without any problem and then a window popped up saying something like ... a fatal error just happened ... do you want to report this to microsoft ...

Anyhow, I found out that there is a latest version of this software (v. 4.2). I tried to upgrade to this version. The software asked me to uninstall the previous version first before installing the newer one. Then it crashed during the process. Hence, I had to independently uninstall the older version and installed the newest version. My system did not crashed afterwards.

The interesting thing that I'd like to point out is that the older version has been working perfectly fine with my desktop, which runs on Win XP with SP ONE. However, the T43 is running on SP TWO.

    Please advise.

    Thanks.

Well, SP2 treats certain apps much differently. I had to install a patch for an HP printer to keep errors from popping up every reboot. Call Nikon and see if thay have any support for you. You might also try posting at our camera site, www.digitalcamerareview.com
