    T43 audio stopped working... with a twist

    So my T43 has been runnin strong for 2 years, but just today after carrying it around in my backpack for my usual hectic schedule of classes, the audio out no longer works. I play songs in winamp and iTunes and no audio comes out.

    The twist is... when I plug in and unplug the power supply to the back of the laptop the do-doop noise that the laptop makes does work and the music files that I'm playing cuts in for a split second.

    So what's going on, and how do I fix it?
