I used to have a T43 laptop with an S video cable- when I hooked it up to my TV via S video- I was able to project the laptop image onto the TV. I inherited another T43 (different model #)- but with Windows 2000 on it also.
It does not seem I have that same option to display out of S Video port to TV. I tried updating video drivers........ no go.
I could have swore when I right-clicked on the desktop before there was an option to send the signal to the TV.
Is this a function of the laptop, or the OS?? or drivers??

I have a x61t (without S-video) but have you tried Fn+F7? You might be able to set a profile that sends the signal to the TV.
