I'm set on buying an IBM and so far, the T43 (14.1") model catches my eye. The 1440x900 screen looks nice, but being an adventure gamer that I am, I highly doubt that 800x600 (standard adv. game res) would be as clear and sharp as I would want it to be. I can always choose the 1024x768 screen, but I heard it isn't quite as bright as the 1440x900 panel. Is this true? The 1024x768 model only comes with 256MB as opposed to 512MB of the 1440x900 model, but I can always upgrade the RAM. What do you guys think I should choose? Just kinda confused here.

    Thanks!

They seemed about the same to me. The 15" flexview is brighter than the standard lcd. If you really want to game, something like the Asus Z70va is a better choice.

I use a T42 with the 14.1" screen at work and at home I have the T43 with the 15" flexview screen. The flexview type is definitve brighter than the standard screen and also supports better viewing angles. I believe the flexview type is only available with the 15" models.

The FlexView is a little more power hungry as well.
