If I get 2 memory of the same will the T430 operate in Duel Channel mode? How much performance will I get?

Two memory sticks will operate at the speed of the slower stick, with dual-channel mode on the overlapped size. This is known as asymmetric dual-channel mode, and will allow you to run, for example, 2GB in dual-channel mode if you have a 2GB stick and a 4GB stick.

In general the performance difference between single channel and dual channel is not something you'll notice except if you are gaming on IGP, etc.

^^ And in that case the performance gain is huge, my WEI for Aero (using IGP) jumped from 5 to 6.5 after adding another 4GB stick.

WEI is a horrible, horrible benchmark in terms of gauging performance: it doesn't represent real-world performance, and certainly isn't linear. For instance, if you only have 4GB of RAM, the score is capped at 5.9, irrespective of speed, etc. A jump from 5 to 6.5 in Aero performance means pretty much nothing.

I believe several users have done benchmarks before with and without dual-channel and reported some differences in IGP gaming performance, but pretty much nothing else.

Which is what I'm saying, it'll affect gaming using IGP. I know WEI doesn't represent real world performance but it's a comparative gauging tool, a jump from 5 to 6.5 in Aero means there is significant performance gain in IGP gaming.
