    WIth the T440s getting an IPS FHD screen, will it be possible to swap the 900p screen on my T430 for the newer FHD one?
    (I am out of warranty so that's not a concern)

    It's possible but unless you're some kind of modding genius you can forget it. The amount of effort it takes is breathtaking. You will need to rewrite the BIOS, get past the LVDS/eDP problem and solder your own adapter.

    Hmmm I thought it'd be as easy as just swapping out the screen. Guess not.
