    T430 or 440, DP -> HDMI audio works?

    This question is regarding the T430s and T440 series, I need to connect it to a projector with HDMI, does the displayport output audio through a DP->HDMI adaptor?

    Audio-out through DisplayPort has worked for all Thinkpads past the Tx00 generation. Be sure the DisplayPort to HDMI adapter you buy passes sound through, however.

    Looks like the edge (E) models do. For that matter, I know the x120e/x130e/x131e all do as well. I don't know of any T-series ones that do though.

    The 2nd gen X1 carbon has both HDMI and mini-DP
