I had a chance to generate a profile for my T430s' panel, a LTN140KT03401 (likely the Samsung panel). Obviously every panel is unique (that's the point of monitor calibration), but click here to download the profile. It may not be perfect for you, but it should at least eliminate the cool temperature of the screen. It should also be applicable to any other Lenovo model using the same panel.

Feel free to browse my work and let me know if you're interested in prints of anything!

Here are some stats on the panel:

Thank you so much. This actually worked great on my machine which has the same panel.

hi Nrbelex, is this icc profile meant to be used in conjunction with the freqeuently mentioned gamma 0.8 saturation 10-15 setting?

No, it should be used independently. Your mileage may vary, so you may want to tweak once you've applied it.

Nrbelex, thanks so much for this. I previously had gamma 0.9 and saturation at 5 because doing 0.8/15 seemed crazy to me, and even with the qualified settings the colors seemed off, especially reds. I'm now using this ICC independently and it really does help, colors are more natural and easier on the eyes. There was also another user generated ICC floating around but I like yours better, thanks again.

There is yet another published color profile by notebookcheck.net in their T430s review. Although the profile Nrbelex posted above is great, this one is slightly less warm and it looks more natural on my machine. I realize all this is silly as each display is different but this one worked great for me.

If you are sucker for properly naming the stuff you put on your machine, I renamed profile identification inside their ICC file so it looks nice among the other deployed profiles. (Attached.)

Nice, yea, no profile will be perfect unless it was made for your display. Some profiles can fix general problems, but you've got to calibrate for your display. Go with whatever works, then tweak until you're happy.
