    Hey guys,
Got the T430u after my T40. Just realized that I can see the wires in the hinge of the laptop. T430u hinge.jpg Wondering if that's normal. I tried attaching the pic. Hope it turns out right.

    Thanks.
    Victor

Wont let me rotate the pic.. *

As long as the hinge has no other problems, I wouldn´t mind this. It is cosmetic.

Would of been ideal if they had covered, even so, you can hardly see it unless you look real close.

No visual wires in my 430u hinges.

I can see them on my T430s, but they're thicker-- wrapped in cloth. Didn't notice it until I saw this message and shone a flashlight on them.

Also, from your photo it looks like the power button 'bezel' between the keyboard and the hinges is built better on the T430u than on the T430s. My bezel has a gap on the edge closest to the screen where I can see into the computer itself, including some circuit board. :(
