    Hi All-

I have a TPT43P and I bought the Mini-Dock. I am not able to get this to automatically change displays when docking. I have the option select in presentation director, but I still must use Fn+ F7.

Also, if I cold dock, whatever the last setting was, is what will display. So if I reboot from the dock - it will come back to the dock display - but if I shut down from an undocked position and then boot-up in the dock - it will default to the internal LCD display.

One other thing. When in the dock, the fingerprint reader does not work. It will contiue to say 'failed Match'.

Do you think I have a bad dock? It appeared that it may have been used when I received it (although I did buy it as new from PCConnection). Or is this just the way the mini-dock functions?

I wasn't able to get the mini dock to switch displays either. I have a T40 and I ended up using the ATI application that is on the machine to set up a hot key combination.

Sorry I can't help on the fingerprint reader issue.

Thanks, Ben - I talked to 3 differeny support people @ IBM and they didn't know if this was a defect or product limitation. The last guy I talked to said he would research it and call me back, so I will post what I find. I wonder if the full dock works the same way.
