I have a refurbished Thinkpad T440, and the screen is slightly curved. When the lid is closed, there is a small gap between the lid and the laptop at the front and back of the machine -- that is, by the trackpad and directly across from there.

Is this by design? Is it normal? I'd rather not send the thing in, but I also don't want a defective Thinkpad.
