Hello everyone - first post here, so apologies if I break any forum rules.

I'm about to buy T440s, and need your help clarifying a couple of things before I make the purchase:

On the Lenovo US site, I'm presented with two options: (a) Thinkpad T440s Ultrabook, and (b) Thinkpad T440s Ultrabook with SSD. My question is:
    1. Are both options exactly the same except one comes with SSD instead of an HDD? Are there any more differences in terms of (expansion) slots or upgradability?

If there's no difference, I'm more inclined to upgrade both HDD and RAM on my own. (PS: One thing I noticed is that using B&N site, there's an SSHD disk drive option?)

    2. HDD Upgrade: Will buy SSHD drive (extra $20) and then swap it for "Crucial M500 240GB SATA" (CT240M500SSD1, $110 on Amazon). Is that a good SSD for T440s, or would you recommend another? (took the SSHD upgrade in case I want to use the drive elsewhere)

    3. RAM upgrade: Considering a Kingston "4GB 1600MHz DDR3L PC3-12800 1.35V Non-ECC CL11 SODIMM" (KVR16LS11/4, $37 on Amazon). Is that also a good buy, or you'd recommend another?

    Finally, couple more questions:

    4. Discounts - I'm using B&N site, which offers 13% off the T440s. Should I expect any kind of verifications/delays to the order?
    5. Warranty - I put the first 4 letters of the part number on the IWS search form ( Lenovo Support - International Warranty Services (US)), and I saw the countries I'm interested in listed it with phone numbers. Does that mean it is eligible for IWS in these countries?

    Many thanks!
