    T440s Fingerprint Reader not detected. Help please

    My fingerprint reader is not getting detected in my T440s. I open up the Fingerprint Manger and it will ask me for an authentication device. It doesn't detect the fingerprint reader. I updated the software and it still won't work. I however notice that there seems to be one device that is listed as "Unknown device" inside my device manager. It says the location is Port_#0006 Hub_#0002. Can anyone confirm this is the Fingerprint reader and how can I fix this. I don't want to send this machine back for only a problem with the fingerprint reader.Thanks for all the help.

    Update: It turned out the program didn't install/update correctly. I decided to do a full uninstall and then reinstalled it. It is now working like a charm.

    Same problem here with T440s, just arrived (now with Windows 8.1). Could you fix it?
