My T440s came with Win 8.1 Pro but I formatted and installed Win7 Pro 64 bit. I think I have everything working but I can't seem to figure out what the driver is for "other devices" listed in Device Manager.

Does anyone know what it could be?

    Thanks

If in doubt the easiest way would be using Lenovo's System Update which should locate and install the missing drivers for you. You can obtain the software here.

Go to device manager, details, hardware IDs, and google search those strings. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if it's the intel vpro management. I disabled that in the BIOS on mine (no need for it), so I never had a reason to install the software to get rid of it. However, on another machine (HP Compaq 7900), I did need the Intel Active Management utility installed to get rid of some devices like that (I didn't disable it in the BIOS that time).

I downloaded Lenovo's system update and it took care some of the problems. I still had one "unknown device" and turned out it to be Broadcom NFC device. Searched for the drivers but it was only for Win8 so I was recommended to install a similar driver for X1 Carbon which worked out in the end.

    Thanks all.
