Has Microsoft taken away complete control of the touchpad away from the manufacturers?
I've tried two new notebooks in a row, one from Lenovo (G50) and another from Asus and have found that neither of them sufficiently turn off the tuochpad while typing even when you access the settings found in W10. Before 10, you could manually access Synaptics' software found in other notebooks to customize certain settings such as sensitivity, palm swipes, and custom gestures. I'm finding those options are no longer offered with either notebooks.
I've been eyeing the T450s for a while. What I'd like to know is, is this problem described above present in it and other higher end Lenovos when Windows 10 is installed? Do I now need to install 3rd party drivers to manually turn off the touchpad when a key is pressed?
