Hi everyone,
I have briefly browsed through their specs but may still want your opinions. It seems to me that the main differences are that:
- W550s comes with NVIDIA K620M and 16 Gb RAM (5 lbs)
- T550 comes with Intel 5500 and 16 Gb RAM (5 lbs)
- T 450s comes with Intel 5500 and 12+8 Gb RAM (3.5 lbs)
I care about:
- performance (to be specific I do some gaming e.g. DDO, and sometimes need to analyze 800 Mb ~ >10 Gb images using ImageJ / ImagePro)
- lower weight has advantages as I may bring it around to work everyday.
I don't care much about outlook or off-centre keypad .
So just wondering which model will you think best suits my need? Will I need a model with more RAM and a better graphic card?
Thanks for the help!

I say the T450s if you looking for portability since they offer the same CPUs, unless you want the GPU. I don't know much gaming, so you're on your own there. One thing to note is the good screen on the T550/W550s is the 3K LCD, which is too small to read at its native resolution and scaling is a mixed bag in Windows. Hopefully, Windows 10 will have improvements, but I've not been following it much.

My pick would be the t550,
the w550s have some throttling issues. -
Thanks guys. In the end I picked T450s for its smaller size and portability, coz I think I will really need to carry it to work everyday. Will update when I get some hand-on experience. Ty.

I bought both. I got the T450s and then saw a great deal on the W550s with core-i7 and the 2880x1620 Touchscreen with 3 year warranty for $1000 on eBay. So I bought that too... The T450s is nice in portability but the W550s feels more like a workstation.
T450s, W550s or T550?
